Although the preparation time for this dosa is less, you need to plan it properly as moong dal needs to be soaked in water.

-1 cup of moong dal,split
-3 to 4 garlic cloves
-1 ½ tbsp of ginger
-3 to 4 green chilies
-1 ½ tbsp of turmeric
-1 tbsp Red chilly powder
-1 ½ tbsp of coriander powder
Let us see how to make moong dal dosa.
Step 1: Soak moong dal for 20-30 minutes in warm water.
Step 2: After soaking, drain off the water and transfer it to the mixer.
Step 3: Add garlic, ginger, green chili to mixer and grind it well.
It will look something like this after grinding through the mixer.
Step 4: Add 1/2 tbsp of Turmeric, Salt as needed, red chili powder as needed considering how spicy green chilies are, and 1 1/2 tbsp of coriander powder and pinch of asafoetida. Add some water and mix it well.
Step 5: Let the Pan/Tawa heat. Smear oil on Tawa/pan. Pour one ladle of batter on Tawa. Sprinkle oil over the edges and also on the dosa. Keep it on medium flame. You can sprinkle some finely chopped coriander on the dosa.
Step 6: Flip it and let it toast on another side. You can again sprinkle oil over the edges.
Step 7: Repeat the same procedure for making the next dosa. Keep it on medium flame.
Yay! Moong Dal Dosa is ready. You can serve it with tomato sauce or a pickle.
