Apple milkshake is an easy and healthy drink that can be whipped in no time. Its loved by kids a lot.
The primary ingredients for this milkshake are – apples, milk and sugar.
Apple milkshake is a great option on fasting days (Vrat days) as its easy to make, quick and keeps you full for a longtime.
I prefer to make this milkshake as an evening drink for my daughter.
Which apples to use?
While choosing apples, avoid using wax coated apples. If you do not have any other option and need to purchase wax coated apples, then add 1 tbsp of vinegar into water and then soak apples into it for around 30 minutes. Then wash the apples thoroughly and then use it.
Alternatively, using organic apples is a great option.
Which milk to use?
There are quite a variations to the milk that you can use. You may use almond milk or soy milk instead of whole milk.

-1 large apple or 2 medium sized apples
-4 to 5 almonds
-2 cups of milk
-2 tsp of sugar
1. Wash the apples thoroughly, peel off the skin and chop it into pieces.
2. Add chopped apples, almonds, sugar and milk to the blender.
3. Blend it until frothy. Before pouring the milkshake, add a little chopped apples to the glass.
4. Pour the milkshake into the glass now. Garnish the milkshake with grated almonds.
1.If you are making apple milkshake for kids, then I suggest peeling off the skin of apple and then using apples for milkshake.
2.You can replace sugar with honey.
3.You can use milk of your choice – whole milk, soy milk or almond milk.
4.You may soak almonds before hand and use it in milkshake after peeling off the skin of the soaked almonds.
5.Do not forget to remove seeds of apples before using it.
Apples are good source of fiber, Vitamin C and polyphenols.

The calcium in the milk is helpful for keeping bones strong.
Apples have natural compounds that help fight cancer.
